Rosa was musing, as we strolled along by one of the canals that criss-cross the city, ‘Amsterdam is a blend of fun and friendly and strange and seedy – which means you would never get bored here!’
There is so much to love about Amsterdam and it was a relaxed place to spend our second day, we even achieved our main aim for the day once we found ‘The House of Fries’ – chips and peanut sauce…
HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: Review of Sunflowers by Van Gogh – Rosa Carol: ‘it’s a bit yellow’
LOWLIGHT OF THE DAY: I smacked my head on the glass wall separating cousin Tim’s living room from his balcony, and nearly knocked myself out – 11 years of first aid training came in handy 🙂

That bump on your head! Wow! Ouch! Mend well. xx Love Rosa’s observations about Amsterdam. <3 And the picture of you and Theo cuddling is just adorable.
I’ve still got the flippin’ bump! It really was a doozie 🙂 …we have made it safely to Turkey now and are feeling pretty pleased with ourselves for making it this far (…we are so not putting any attention on how far we have to go!) love and hugs x
Just started to pick up on your blog as we’ve been festivalling up to now. Loving it, so lovely to join you vacariously on your adventure. All the best. Georgia
